I voted for Kessler although I think that is a very close fight, I think the fact that Kessler has never fought at 175 and the fact that Dawson is a slick southpaw would give him the edge. Would be a good fight though and I think Kessler's power could cause Dawson problems.

Wow. Its like the Calzaghe vs Hopkins fight never happened.

Its really hard for some of you guys to accept that Calzaghe won that fight and is currently the superior fighter. If someone who just got into boxing came to this forum they would genuinely think that Hopkins won that fight...and before anyone says anything...he didnt. There was no poor judging by the mainly AMERICAN judges, it was no gift decision to Calzaghe as the outsider to the country. He won. Thats the only fact.

Dawson has never and probably WILL never fight anyone as good as Joe Calzaghe. Dawsons name has rarely been mentioned in the same breath as Joe until now. Why would Joe fight Dawson for peanuts? No promoter is going to jump through hoops to get this one!
So Dawson beats Calzaghe but Hopkins owns him? Hmmm, i think you need to look back in history a few months.
