Hagler was a beast and would throw more punches than Joe, and Hagler punche harder. Hagler had good speed and a great chin.
I dont know how well his power would carry to 168 but I would pick him to stop Joe.

Marvin shoulda walked through him. He gave Duran way too much respect in that fight.

"Duran started at 122". That is such a lame argument. He was an incredibly effective and an elite fighter right up to MW.

Marvin Hagler has to be one of the most overrated fighters ever
even a washed up Ray Leonard humuliated him over 12 rounds.

Hagler would get crushed by Calzaghe or Hopkins
**** id even give Pavlik and Taylor a good chance of beating him.

has anyone ever seen Calzaghe fight a fellow southpaw? I havent. so who knows how he would do against Hagler?

this is Hagler against a southpaw...the champion at the time, Alan Minter.

The main question is how Hagler deals with the size. Calzaghe would be a light-heavyweight during Hagler's prime, due to different weigh-in rules.

Calzaghe is a very good fighter, but Hagler was superior. Hagler was one of the more versatile and complete fighters you'll ever see. However, he was a middleweight, and not a very big one either. You don't know how a guy will perform after jumping up in weight. And Calzaghe is not some scrub 168/175 fighte
