Joe Calzaghe IS three years younger than Roy Jone Jnr not thirteen years younger. Last night, despite being only three years younger and ALSO past HIS prime, Calzaghe proved himself to be one hard fast SOB. In HIS prime, before bad hand injuries, he would have hit harder too, and also would have been faster. Do i think Joe v RJJ both in their prime would be a walkover for either boxer, NO.

No one knows, and Roy had the chance to fight Joe years ago, and ducked.

We will never know, but you RJJ fellas seem to think its a forgone conclusion.

    hmmm

RJJ easy. Pointless discussion. Probably by knockout before round 6.

Is 8 rounds to 4 or thereabouts a walkover? I didn't think it was.

The poll asks me to give an opinion, I gave it. Get back in your ***n box.

I got Jones by UD, he was much faster with upper body & lower body movement. He could throw some seriously quick and sharp combination too, all of them with power. Calzaghe would still give him some trouble because of his awkward style and constant punching, but in the end I think Jones beats him.

How do we know Jones ducked Calzaghe though? Was Calzaghe even a name years back, enough for anyone in the U.S to even know who he was? Jones has been knocked out twice too, I think it's pretty clear to say he was out of his prime. I think a lot of us overestimated his win against Trinidad too.

I don't know, but I think Calzaghe is more in prime in his later years. So, I think if I'm right. Probably Roy by decision... Sorry Joe... Too hard to call

Roy by knockout. Fu cking idiots. Roy couldn't knock out lesser competition. He'd hardly KO a tough chinned Calzaghe.

                  Polls a meaningless joke already.

Roy Jones wins by SD, but really struggles with Joe. I think Roy might win the early rounds but Joe would come on in the later rounds but Roy builds a lead so that he pulls out a SD

LOL, its rare to see you this angry.

I agree though, on the balance of probabilities, Roy does not stop Joe. That is why I voted Roy UD.
