Last night made Hopkins look good

The Calzaghe-Jones fight made Hopkins look good. It showed Hopkins can make a top-notch fighter look like an amateur. It showed Hopkins is a very smart fighter which prompted Calzaghe to not throw so many punches. Jones who is faster couldn't counter Calzaghe effectively like Hopkins did. Calzaghe did not put his hand down as much for Hopkins because he knew that if he did he would be in some deep ****. Calzaghe dodge all of Roys combinations. Id be glad to see Calzaghe-Hopkins II before either of them call it quits.

Hopkins will look better as a result of last nite. I ain't too excited about a Joe C rematch, but I'd watch if it happened.

Joe wants nothing to do with Bernard after narrowly escaping the first time, and I can't say I blame him. His '0' is not safe around "The Executioner".

i suggest people rewatch the hopkins fight and see how he shut calzaghe totally down. it was hopkins controlling the fight the whole way and landing the clean punches. REAL WINNER BERNARD HOPKINS

              Word.

Hopkins - Pavlik made Calzaghe look good.

Calzaghe - Jones made Hopkins look good.

I think Hopkins win was much more impressive though. Just knowing how old he was, big underdog and schooling him.

Hopkins probably should have won that fight. It was a draw at best.

I agree. I actually thought Hopkins won on effective punching.

I would favor Bernard in a rematch with Joe.
I need to rewatch and rescore the Cal v Hopkins fight...
