You know what its all bunch of spin doctors...hold on here...

both past their best! ok, I'll give you that. But hold on, isn't it true that roy is not only past his best.......but he also has not won a significant fight in 5-6 years going in. The last time he was in a significant fight he lost decisively. Calzahge meanwhile was the #2 p4p best fighter in the sport. Theres a differnece there.

      Good post.

Every time Roy Jones loses, its because, "hes not in his prime anymore"

Every guy that beat him wasn't in theirs either.

      "bu,bu, but........"

I know, because Roy Jones stans still can't accept that he can be beaten.

"He wasn't in his prime anymore"

Newsflash, neither were any of the guys who beat him.

          Deal with it.

Show your pity to a mirror.

even if the guys that beat him weren't in their primes either...who cares. the point is he lost when most athletes tend to go down hill. You can't tell me your the same at 35-39, as you were from 26-32. You notice said most, theres always exceptions.

So last night we saw 2 fighters both past prime but only one dominated. So before you criticize Calzaghe for the win or make excuses for Roy remember NEITHER man was in his prime last night. Joe was simply better.
are u aware that RJJ had been fighting for 5 years longer, 11 more fights.... not to mention much better competition. I would say that JC definately had an advantage.

RJJ prime beats JC prime. nuff said.

You don't get it. You Jones stans love to bring up how Jones wasn't in his prime when he got beat. Tarver, Johnson and Calzaghe weren't in their primes either.

Prime for prime, they all give him trouble.

                  But, he didn't.

He could have, but he didn't.
