Don't let all these ignorant Americans that are on here talking **** about Calzaghe represent all of us.

It was a great victory by him last night and no matter what people say, a victory over Hopkins and Jones are great accomplishments.

Calzaghe is a hard worker, who beats you with punches in bunches and entertains you as well.

I don't think that his showboating was disrespectful because Jones has done that all his life and it was just his way of out "Jonesing" Jones.

As far as the argument that Calzaghe would have never beat these guys in their prime, we will never know. It doesn't matter though, to go 46-0 and defend a very competitive weight class for so long is a very impressive feat.

So respect to all the Welsh fans and the Europeans who support him. MOST Americans feel the same way I do, at least real fight fans not ignorant little kids on a boxing forum talking ****.

I know not all Americans are like that and it isn't just Americans giving Calzaghe this ****. People are acting like Calzaghe fans are claiming this to be as good as beating Jones in his prime, but it's nothing like that. Beating Jones even out of his prime is still a very good victory.
