This bit makes me sad.....
And the sense of letdown will be hardest for Roy than anyone. Because he was enjoying being back for real. And then it's over. The crowd empties out the venue. Everything is cleaned out including the fighters. The TV cameras switch off. The venue lights go out and the event is all over.
Just like that. -

I think the hardest thing for me to accept is that I really believed he was up for this one. He seemed to have a bit of an aura about him that i've not seen in him in years. Last night hasn't changed the way I think of him at all. He's still the greatest fighter of the past 15 years and one of the best ever in my eyes.Comment

But ultimately, both he, and we, were lying to ourselves, really.Comment

I felt sad for RJJ when he was cut yesterday, but he still had the heart to go the full distance...Comment

I've just bought a signed RJJ glove and i'm currently looking for a picture to have put onto a canvas but can't decide what.
Any recommendations?Comment

I always thought Calzaghe would win on points but I prayed Jones had one last big fight left in him, and after the first round I believed it aswell. When the bell rang at the end of round 1 I loved it when Roy stood in the centre of the ring just looking at Joe. it got me so hyped up, but then made what came after it feel so much worse.
