Calzaghe fans: do you want him to retire?

    I don't.

Go Joe. One more fight in Cardiff against Hopkins, and then you can go sir. haha.

In a dream world he coaxes Sven Ottke out of retirement and ***** smacks him all over the shop. In reality Hopkins will do, lol.

    * I do think Joe can retire with his head held high though, I don't think he has anything to prove

Id like to see him bow out at the Millennium Stadium against Hopkins or Dawson.

Yes, he has nothing left to prove.

the only two fights out there are Hopkins or Dawson.

the first Hopkins fight was one of the worst i have had to suffer through and Dawson would prove nothing as when Calzaghe wins Dawson is all hype and he gets no credit as usual.

If I where Dawson I would stay away, even if he wins he would get no credit for the win and frankly if you struggle to beat Johnson, Calzaghe is going to win every round.

I wouldn't really want him to retire, I would wanna see him one more time in Wales, but he has accomplished pretty much everything, so if he retired it's obviously understandable.

Calzaghe is seemingly ageless but I would certainly understand it if he were to retire now.

There aren't really any other options for him aside from Chad Dawson and a rematch with Hopkins, fights which I'm sure do not interest Joe at this point.

As a boxing fan I wouldn't mind seeing Calzaghe fight Dawson, it's always good to see the number 1 fight the number 2 in the division. Dawson might have to get a couple of wins and make himself more known until there's a chance of that fight happening though.

It's doubtful that he will fight again, but Calzaghe didn't say whether his decision to retire after Jones would be final or not. He could very well come back if the money and everything else was right.

It's okay if he retires, but I would like to see him have one farewell fight in Wales next year.
