    all those in denial.....

to all those posters on here who are chirping calzaghe for beating hopkins and jones when they "werent in their primes"
    - admit that he beat YOUR fighters who YOU thought would beat him.
    - admit that you picked both jopkins and jones to win but calzaghe beat both, worse than anybody else has done for twelve rounds.
    - admit that there is currently NOBODY who can beat calzaghe
    - admit that if he was african american, he would be considered an all time great.

I'm a fool for thinking Roy could still beat an elite fighter.

I picked Roy to win, and I was wrong.

with that being said, calzaghe fans should not be spin doctors and try to act like they pulled off a major upset last night.

    Calzaghe was the betting favorite.-Fact
    Most writers/analysts picked joe- Fact
Roy was thought to be done amongst most fans and boxing people-Fact

ya joe cal was favoured big time by oddsmakers.
however, there were many fans and fighters (including jeff lacy, hopkins, lennox, list goes on) who thought jones was still a good enough fighter to beat joe calzaghe.
however even though jones tried to bring what he said he was gonna, joe didnt let him do that.
i think were in agreement here, finally somebody steps up.
not saying joe beat a prime SRR but hes at least #2 maybe 1 p4p right now, we'll see on december 6th lol

I Roy basically got exposed as a fighter who is done as an elite fighter. He can't compete an elite level.

              rjj is shot.

              calzaghe inconclusively decisioned bhop.

there's still dawson and glen johnson out there. not saying joe wouldn't win these fights, but saying it is one thing, doing it is another.
