The rematch with Hopkins is the only fight out there.

I want Hopkins to start making some noises. Joe will fight him again.

Chad Dawson offers no real star power as far as selling 70,000 tickets stadium in Cardiff is . Hopkins left an impression, people don't like him.

Hopkins is also a great fight promoter, unlike Joe.

The reason he gets dropped is directly related to his ****ty fighting stance. he keeps his legs too far apart, and his balance is naturally awkward so whenever he catches one he's not prepared for down the pipe, he hits the deck.

You think he would've learned his lesson against Bernard, but I imagine it's hard to switch up the way you fight, even small adjustments, when you've been fighting as long as Joe.

The shot Jones caught him with was a bit of a fluke, the first punch was nice but the punch that put him down was a forearm that he didn't see.

That **** would have knocked a fair few fighters the f.uck out. Real talk. Watch the replay of that punch, Joe Calzaghe for all intensive purposes was 'out' when he was going down. It looks like a KO has just happened. I shat myself, lol

Nard nailed him with a nice sneaky right hand but it was a flash knockdown.

I don't think the Jones forearm was really that hard of a shot. Joe has a wide base and was leaning into it, which made it worse.

Kind of like what Hopkins did to him only Hopkins landed and Roy didn't.

Roy was trying to be Bernard in that first round, anyone else catch that? Putting his back on the rope, trying to catch him coming in with the straight right?

I had a feelin somebody would go down early on this fight, but not in the 1st ****in rd. That was some hot **** and I thought Roy just might finish him, but Joe did what he had to do. Beyond the KD, Roy didn't put much damage on him the rest of the way.

I think it looks pretty hard you can see the impact causing an impact through Calzaghe's whole neck. It was awkward as ****.

I think Roy waited too long at times, and when he did open up he got punished, unlike Hopkins who to me a massive Calzaghe fan actually got the better of the exchanges a lot of the time. Roy still landed some beautiful counters none the less.

Joe Calzaghe beat Hopkins for me on workrate, but Hopkins looked like the better fighter that night. Joe does still have something to prove there if he wants it, it's the only possible fight he could take,

In a way I'm kind of glad he didn't get KO'ed from that punch. Otherwise we'd have to suffer through a rematch.

its because joe starts out cold and then warms up as the fight progresses. the key to beating joe is to keep him from getting his rhythm going.

4 times down in 46 fights, hardly getting dropped all the time. Never really really hurt in all of the knockdowns, because what I saw was him getting back up and opening up on jones.
