He did exactly what he shouldnt have done against calzaghe, going to the ropes with your hands up. I know he was trying to throw the odd powerful punch but to be honest apart from round 1 calzaghe wasnt troubled at all.

I wasn't disappointed in him. He didn't go out there and tank it, he did the best he could. I do hope he retires now though, he just doesn't have anything left or anything to prove.

Yeah but Jones lies on the ropes all the time, it wasn't so much joe backing jones up more jones going to the ropes by choice he just hasn't had the speed of foot for the last 4-5 years now.
