Be impressed with the hype that surrounded Lacy...and Calzaghe stepping up and destroying him. Then stepping up and beating the next threat in line in Kessler, and winning by UD.
His wins over Kessler and Lacy impressed me ...

Yes, they impressed me as well. It's what is getting him into the HOF, besides his undefeated record. The rest was for kicks.

Don't try to take the piss out of me, my opinion means as much as yours and if wins over old shot fighters impress you then ' yay ' for you.

            What???

I gave him credit for Kessler and Lacy, but the last bunch, Old Man Hopkins and Old Man/Shot to pieces Roy Jones Jr. is nothing to talk about.

              THIS.

You must be in the wrong Sport if you cannot appreciate J.C's boxing talent.

Hes obviously more than just a volume puncher. Give the guy credit. I called the guy just a slapper too after the Lacy fight, but hes won me over, theres a lot of things he does that frustrate his opponents, and hes pretty intelligent about it.

I'll agree that this jones fight isnt going to win anyone over, but you have to give him credit for Hops, you cant say thats a guy who cant fight anymore.

old man hopkins looked quick, accurate, powerful, good on his feet and still tough as nails against pavlik. i still dont believe there are many that can beat him.

You need a new definition of the word good. Kessler was at least good when they fought. Eubanks was at least good when they fought. Lacy was at least good, well before Calzaghe literally broke him. Complain all you want. At least make sense.
