Where did I say I was right? I was just giving an example of a British fight fan agreeing with this American fight fan on the subject at hand.

Why should Joe show Roy respect? I don't know, maybe because he's a living legend? Maybe because he's a future hall of famer and a shoe-in on the coveted "All Time Greats" list?

Did you even read any of my other posts about the unwritten law in this sport on fighting shot legends?

And if Joe is a legend in his own right (which I disagree with, but will concede to for the sake of argument), you would think that'd be all the more reason he'd show Jones a bit of respect in the ring with him.

It doesn't matter what era you're from, you respect the legends who came before you as much as you should respect the legends of your own era.

I certainly hope you're not pointing the finger in my direction in regards to being bitter.

                I wasn't a fan of Roy's or Joe's going into this fight.

I'm just calling it like I see it.

Is it right for a champion to act like Calzaghe did?

since when is calzaghe a champ? holding a non distinguished wbo belt for 21 defenses does not qualify as a champ or moving up and getting a gift against old man hopkins for no world title belt.

Calzaghe is Ring light heavy weight champion. He was also the Ring super middleweight champion as well.
