    The End Of RJJ...

First of all I want congratulate all of Joe Calzaghe’s fans. Secondly, I want to admit I was wrong for picking against Joe. Thirdly, I want to give credit to Joe for a good win. You guys should be proud of Joe, hes a heck of a fighter. The only thing I will say is I wouldn’t have taunted a legend like Joe was taunting Jones. I thought it was disrespectful. It would be one thing if both were young and in their primes. But to beat Roy up and smile at him as if your enjoying it, that’s not right. I’m pretty sure most boxing people would agree with me…infact even lampley was like ok joe you've proved your point.

Now for the sad part, Roy Jones Jr. is done as a prizefighter. I thought Roy had more left than he did, I was dead wrong. Roy can’t compete anymore at an elite level. I don’t think Roy Jones’s fans, or Roy Jones have anything to be ashamed of. Roy tried tonight, I really believe he did. Roy is never going to be a Arturo Gatti type fighter, but I think he did his best out there. It wasn’t like against Tarver the 3rd time where he didn’t even try it seemed. Joe was too fast and active for him. Roy was getting hit and bloodied, it was very sad to watch. I kept thinking of Ali against Larry Holmes.

Bottom line is Roy got hit a lot tonight, in the head too. Its time for Roy to retire before he gets hurt. All great things must come to an end, the best part about it is we can always look back at what was. I still watch old Ray Leonard and Ali fights to this day, I’ll be doing the same with Roy. Roy Jones Jr. in his prime was a special fighter, make no mistake about it.

I’m changing my name on here from TRUTH to Roy The Truth in dedication to my favorite boxer of all time.
