I said in the BoxingScene predictions article that once a fighter becomes OK with losing, there is no turning back. Before the fight Jones was saying he wasn't going to be timid and complacent but what else did you expect him to say?
I noted that Calzaghe's will to win was still intact while Jones didn't have that insatiable desire to succeed.
I was very impressed with Calzaghe, I felt he put on a great performance and showed his championship credentials.
I thought some of the showboating was unnecessary, he really just embarrassed Jones. It was humiliating.
