I was countering him and hitting him with jabs check this out at the end of the fight the hbo video programming team show me doing the effective work. I know you may come back with something but honestly listen to what I'm saying and you'll see I took the druken master out of his game plan (He followed me, He didnt dance)
I know you probably honestly believe that, but the truth is that you didn't. You lost that fight fair and square. There is no shame in that. You fought well, and you gave it your all, but Emanuel was just a little to crafty for you.

He chose when and were the action would take place. He was more accurate. He was throwing beautiful combinations, and just making you look very uncomfortable.

The look on your face says it all. You know you lost the fight. We know you lost the fight. You have a bright future, learn from the experience.

i thought that augustus finished stronger and i thought that he applied more pressure, i also saw him slip, catch, and roll a lot of punches. it wasn't a domination but it was clear that augustus had the better punches and more throughout the fight..........

either way, i very much respect Figueroa's response in defending his performance. you can't take away from him, he too had to take the fight on short notice, but something that you very much have to criticize is the scoring. not to be a prick to EL Gato, but from the outside looking in, there was some home cooking..........

I agree. It was not a one sided fight, but it was a very clear win for Augustus.

Looking back at this. I feel very good to have people from both sides be able to see my opinion. I do not really know Augustus' mental condition, but if I had the opportunity I wish I could tell him to keep his head up, there are many people that enjoy watching him fight and do see the fights that he really wins.

I guess it bothers me more because he said he is getting more serious about it, then for something like this to happen, you cant help but feel bad for the guy. Anyways, I'll continue to watch him, the fight was more entertaining than the main event anyways.

Hey guys I hear ya and as for my face it wasn't the face of frustration it was the face of pure concentration and focusing on the next movement that will have me win this chess match. DM was giving me different types of attack and angles also being a veteran of competition I know that the way to beat DM is to use all pieces of the chess game (not just one). DM & I are good fighter nobody wanted to fight him and nobody wanted to fight me. As for as V.Ortiz you ask will I fight him are you kidding me??? I just fought one of the best Jr. Welterweight in the world in a 1/2 weeks notice.
