Why? I agree. guys who have only fought in say Kansas and are undefeated are probebly going to be worse than someone who is undefeated and has fought in New York.

Michigan is very northern. when he said Midwest, he probebly was thinking, you know, the middle of the countryish.

In general different places present different qualities of fighters
let's face it poor ppl who live in an area where boxing can be their best bet in life will produce a lot of good fighters.

that's why you see eastern europe rampaging now. Lots of poor ppl and big amateur background.

Western europe, we live well... why bother?

He isnt talking about that particular area but rather the Iowa's, Kansas and such places.
