    Do you see a similarity?!

Tarver nails him with a picture perfect left hook coming from southpaw stance, right after a little feint.

Calzaghe nails him with a picture perfect left hook coming from southpaw stance, right after a little feint.

You guys must realize that Calzaghe isn't your conventional boxer. He's a dirty southpaw who's gonna give Roy hell.

And Roy has a record of coming up short when he fights a dangerous lefty.

    I see a difference too!

    Tarver... power.

    Calzaghe... none of the above.

That's funny. because Eubank said Joe hit him hardest out of all his opponents. That's coming from a guy who's been in with Nigel Benn twice.

That's funny, because that was literally like 10 years ago before Joe broke his hands once a week.

If Calzaghe has no power, why doesn't even opponent he faces just rush him. Why is every opponent overly cautious when fighting him?! I really want to see your logic.

Why didn't Popkins initiate in any attacks whatsoever?!

Calzaghe has enough power to get respect... obviously. If you don't have respect power, you lose, simple as that.

He does not have left hand from hell power that Tarver has.

Now if you are saying that he will be able to hit Jones with awkward left hands in the manner that Tarver did, fine... but don't expect Jones to be laying on the canvas after one lands.

I thought we were comparing the two videos?

Oh... if that's the case, then have at it... I thought this thread was supposed to be used as a predictive application towards tonight's fight of Calzaghe vs. Jones.

If it is just comparing, historically, how those two threw left hands, then... have a good time with that.

You have to admit, that the way those 2 left hooks landed are very much alike.
