I know he's been dropped, but has he ever been seriously hurt. I mean like Amir Khan type hurt. I'd like to say that Roy can stop him, but I can't recall Joe ever being truly hurt. Does anyone have footage of his knockdowns?

not really.... .he got knocked down against brewer and salem because he didnt care to train for the fights..... watch him vs mitchell..... thats about as hurt as hes ever been... the b-hops knockdown everybody knows what happened.... he got caught big time with a clean shot. never hurt or been close to knocked out though -
Brewer didn't knock him down.
Mitchell: knocked Joe down in round 2 of their fight. Joe returned the favor in the same round and the fight was stopped.
Salem: One of the dirtiest fights Joe's had. It was a weird, messy knockdown.
Hopkins: Flash KD in round 1.
No, he hasn't been seriously hurt. He took massive right-hand bombs from a prime Robin Reid all night and wasn't seriously hurt either.

I'd say the Mitchell and Salem KD's were pretty solid... less so the Hop one.
Interestingly (or not?) he said on a chat show that when you're KD'd you don't know anything till the count of six.
