I'm still not entirely convinced in Kessler's ability to deal with pressure and punching power despite the good showing against Andrade (who isn't really an educated pressure fighter by any means).
Yes but your talkin about 5 seconds of pressure then 30 seconds of guard. I don't think we can say AA is a pressure fighter...

I think it would be a really close fight. AA baits guys because he doesn't need much room to get off on the inside. He goes into a shell then explodes when he counters. He has some short nasty uppercuts and hooks to his game that people miss.

It would be an awesome battle for Northern European supremacy.

a miguel cotto type would be dangerous but they have to have a very good chin and willing to take some punches.

not many people are willing to take the kind of power abraham has. he's also very conserving of his energy so you won't see him tiring out and be susceptible to being worn down.

AA looked like crap, he should have finished him in the first round. Kessler and Pavlik would dominate AA.. EASY

i seem to be the only one that thinks arthur has a shot.

if abraham was fighting in america or britain......i bet you he'd get some more votes.

i'm warming up to arthur and that's saying something because he's a counterpuncher and i adore sluggers.

i think abraham beats kessler. i truly do.

I didn't say he was but he does put the pressure on his opponents when he is actually throwing punches.

Abraham isn't really a counter puncher either, in my opinion.

He has a 'wait and see' approach early on and then he starts to pick his opposition apart, normally finishing with a highlight reel knockout.

It's exciting enough to watch for me.

Its true he conserves his energy well, but that leads me to believe he lacks some amount of confidence in his stamina. Also you dont need to be the active guy to get worn down, a heavy puncher going at his belly the Marquez did will slow anyone down.

Abraham definitely has a chance of beating Kessler but i'd still favour Abraham. He has a better chance beating Pavlik IMO.

not too many of the premier middleweights-light heavyweights around are very dedicated to wearing down the body imo. even less will stay dedicated after eating a heavy counter or two.

i think people are underestimating abraham.

the guy continued fighting with a broken jaw while swallowing gallons of his own blood. that is one tough sob. my kind of guy.

he'll be my new omar sheika.

                      war abraham!!!!!
