yea PWill is the top dog at WW, id venture to say that Marg is 3rd a WW behind both PWill and Clottey, cuz in reality Marg could have lost back to back fights to both PWill and Clottey and now he wont fight them again

Wit all the PBF and Marg talk goin on today for no apparent reason, I knew it was only a matter of time before Pwill's name was brought into the mix in a thread like this. Here's the facts:

Pwill clearly UD'd Marg in a good fight, but did so in July '07, and Marg was not ranked as the #1 WW at that time. Therefore, Pwill cannot be logically called #1 based on that win.

Marg KO'd Cotto in July '08, and Cotto was ranked as the #1 WW at the time that fight took place. Therefore, Marg is the #1 WW in the sport right now.

Pwill is Marg's top challenger and should get a shot next year. Until he gets it and defeats Marg again, Marg is #1 and he is #2, or 1b to Marg's 1a.
