There's a big fight comin up for the LHW title tonite. PBF vs whoever is all hypothetical and has been beat to death on here. Why can't we drop this dumbass topic and focus on some fights that are actually happening?

floyd mayweather threw 329 punches and landed 129 vs hatton.
miguel cotto threw 655 landed 288 vs margarito.
cotto threw twice as much as floyd did vs hatton.
floyd would clinch more, but marga is stronger.and i doubt floyd has ever thrown as many as cotto threw that night.floyd's stamina is overrated.when he throws 600 punches in a fight and doesn't tire let me know. other than that, that better condition thought is bull****.

from what I've seen on floyd's boxingrec compubox numbers he's never thrown 500 punches in a fight.the closest he's come too was 490 vs tony pep.

Funny cus Margarito was also fighting injured in that fight and Clottey didn't really hurt his hand.. he later came out and admitted that it wasn't at all broken.

Anyway, skills don't always pay the bills.. If you have watched this sport you know that not always the better technician wins.

Styles make fights and a fight with Margarito would be very risky for Mayweather which is why he never took it.
