Before this fight i thought he was semi **** and not after this fight i think he will be for sure. And for Villa he also lost a lot this fight i wonder if he can bounce back.

in 2006 two fighters won the fight of the year in an insane fight. never heard of either fighter before that fight, havent heard much of them since.

He's talking about the two... what were they, Thailand(?) fighters who fought each other for the 06 fight of the year. It never aired in America, and no one here has heard from either of them since, but it won anyway because it was such a great fight. He's saying that the name recognition isn't all that important when it comes down to it and this won't be hurt much without it.

If he was on the the ball, Villa would of won prior to the round he was stopped. But great fight no doubt they both deserve to get paid in a rematch. At least i'd like to see a rematch. These fight could of gone the other way so easy.

these guys were actually pretty skilled at times in the fight, but mostly it was just an excellent fight with lots of hard shots landed.

I disagree. Villa still got up right away after the 2nd knockdown. Give him 20 seconds, ring the bell, he comes out fresh the next round. Andrades win was just as dramatic if not more, i was screeming when Andrade did what he did, for this fight i was more like holy ****, type reaction both were great though thats no doubt.

The only fight that was not ruined for me even having read the hype, the result and the comments was the Jose Luis Castillo v. Deigo Corrales fight. The Vasquez v. Marquez III just gets better and better every time i watch it again, its better then Margarito v. Cotto imo. Now, if i watch the Villa v. Mataga fight again tomorrow and im still entertained and glued to the tv then you know its at least canidate for FOTY.
