I don't see it right now by watching the 24/7. But I feel deep down that he is going to rise to the occasion and catch Joe flush and knock him out. That ***** victory has definitely had to have a motivating effect that can give him the mental edge. We shall see, we shall see. What are your thoughts?

Jones looks great and I have no reason to think he can't go 12 rounds, it took Glen Johnson 9 rounds to hurt Jones enough to even land that shot and bottom line I don't feel Joe can even hit anywhere near what johnson or Tarver have that's if he can even find him to take a wild swing to try to generate that kinda power....I think roy can do 12 rounds for sure.

i think he can. he will let joe wail away and lay on the ropes, and save his energy. he will come on in counters, and spurts. long as he don't take to many big shots he will be ok. not sure if he can win, but he will finish, and have his moments imo.

I'd go with this assessment Mel. On the money.
Thing is Jones is a vet and cagey but I fear he will be outworked. Actually, I don't fear it, I want it to happen.

He just needs to be a bit flashy in every round to make judges wonder because you know Joe's going to try to throw out a lot unless Jones nails him with something that gives him pause to think.
I see Cal UD with Jones having his old jones matrix moments- but not many of them.

I have some doubts that Roy can still go 12 rounds at Calzaghe's pace. But he is smart enough to know how to pace himself, although he struggled to make it through the third Tarver fight.

                  Most Definitely.
He looked in great shape for the Weigh-In, although his legs did look kinda skinny.

but i think he will still fight 12 rounds and win a decision

he might be mentally prepared, but his body is shot.
