Calzaghe 6 Pounds over weight today!!!!

Guys like Roy and Joe dont just turn up overweight for fights like this when they've been making weight their whole life. I could of understood Roy not making 170, not 175.

Just stated on setanta he was having trouble making weight.

Bunce stated it could be done, but he would be seriously dehydrated.

Jones was stated as being 1 pound over weight.

When Joe was at 168, a week before a fight he would live off a diet of water and porridge made with water so he could shed the weight in time for the weigh in.

In other forums some people are suggesting that Bunce is making it up.

It doesn't seem in line with Calzaghe's character, to have this weight problem. But could he have overindulged in New York restaurants?

If you ask me I think it's false. Bunce is probably saying that giving the impression that Roy has a much better chance if Joe had trouble making weight. I find it hard to believe that he'd say he's been in the best condition of his life, train so hard, have a 24/7 and have this be the biggest fight of his career, and not make weight. Joe's not that unprofessional.

He walks around not loads higher then 175, used to be 185 ish perhaps tad higher now. So I'd be surprised if he doesn't make weight. Can someone confirm they heard this on Setanta and what was said. Bunce also said he was very worried at the way Calzaghe acted at the Interview when he watched it, body language etc
