In a body punching clinic, comebacking Marco Antonio Barrera methodically pounded over matched Sammy Ventura into submission at 1:01 of the fourth. Ventura seemed content to try and survive as the "Baby Faced Assassin" stalked and pounded his body relentlessly. Two knockdowns in the fourth and it was all over, Ventura being saved by referee Kenny Bayliss. Barrera moves to 64-6 (43 KOs) while Ventura gets closer to .500 at 25-20 (20 KOs).
