hand speed is good no doubt, but look at his movement. He is obviously set on a pace to fight at, and its a pace he has always used, slow, slow rat a tat tat slow. Roy needs to pace himself but Joe doesnt. From the third round onwards, joe will not stop and he will not slow down.
By the way, Joe looks to be putting more meat into the pads than ive seen since before his hand problems - when he used to knock guys out for fun. Ive a feeling that Joe might just be ready to put some beef down on roy come the fight.
By round 8, Roy will be spent and Joe will STILL be coming.

i spotted that as well, joe was landing his punches alot stronger and like you mnetioned alot meatier than before. maybe we haven't seen alot of joe doing the pads but from what iv seen from him he is looking to sit on his punches alot more in this fight.

by the way RJJ still unnaturally quick, i reckon he has the speed of a modern day welterweight, in a light-heavyweights body that really is amazing.

hes also looked focussed and sharp whenever iv seen him in 24/7, yes he does some goofing around but imo hes just enjoying his training camp, whever iv seen him talk about joe he seems to have found a new found strength and determination.
