Agree.
There was a reason why Americans have been given a lot of credit: THEY WERE GREAT. I say "were" because it's not quite that way anymore.
America, throughout the 20th century, is where every top fighter wanted to be. They had the fighters, they had the money. This is where the best fought, just like the best wanted to play in the NBA and/or in Europe for Football.Comment

Once again, idiotic comments run amok in the Boxingscene forum. I'm not sure how ***** comes into the equation or how people can be so ignorantly patriotic and rude on these forums.Comment

Exactly, good post. It's reading posts like his here and at ESB over the years, that's made me far more pro-European than I was before, and has caused me to root against American fighters.okay so how is a British boxing fan or even a European boxing fan not mean't to get pissed of by this kind of post.
It's posters and people like this that make me always want to back a Brit or Euro over any American just so it dawns on ****ers like this. Good fighters are everywhere.Comment

if that angers you so much...prove me wrong who have they fought (and won) that is of any significance? Wether you like it or not America is the Mecca of boxing if your not fighting over here (or your not fighting over here consistantly) your not going to be considered top notch... they may be good for Brit and Euro standards but thats like comparing a college sport to a pro sport... its just not the same ( let me clear this up im talking about weight classes lower than Heavy, because i'll give you this Europe has got some beast ass heavy's)okay so how is a British boxing fan or even a European boxing fan not mean't to get pissed of by this kind of post.
