It's an important fight. Hopefully Shobox or Versus steps up and shows it. I havent seen any of Sturm's fights since De La Hoya. Not really sure how good he is.
Arthur Abraham vs. Felix Sturm - Money Offer is Raised

Wow, lot of money. And this is a very good fight, they better show this on American tv if they fight. The only lose Sturm has had since the Delahoy fight is the Castejllo fight and he won the rematch. Kind of ruins the plans when i know that Marquez is going to upset Abraham.Comment

This is fine and dandy but honestly I wonder how long Abraham can make 160.
He had some trouble getting there last month, and my sense is he'll move up.
We'll see how this plays out. Both are cash cows in Germany and doubt the promoters want to risk a mega fight like this to the detriment of future paydays.Comment

The offer being made is by AAs promoters to Sturm to fight AA. They previously offered him 1.5 million euros, which he never responded to.This is fine and dandy but honestly I wonder how long Abraham can make 160.

I really want this fight for what it does for the MW division. I think it sets up a big showdown most likely between AA and Pavlik which is the fight I've been waiting to see anyway. I hope Sturm takes it or he should be stripped, no more excuses.Comment

Sissycat sturm wants $3,000,000.99
Let sissycat sturm revel in his ignorance for a while, until the day when he'll feel AA's elephant power. perhaps then he can throw his idiotic comment "AA is an inferior boxer" at AA. Sturm takes advantage of his awareness of the complications surrounding the financing $3 million for each fighter. Obviously, sturm loves complications that'll prevent the fight happening.
There is more money on the table for a potential fight with IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham, facing off in a unification bout with countryman Felix Sturm, the WBA champion. The first offer given to Sturm was $1.5 Euro, but there now appears to be $2.5 Euro on the table. [details]Last edited by Alex350z; 11-13-2008, 12:02 PM.Comment
