if Calzaghe struggles with Jones what will you think of him then cause he will have struggled against an old,shot Hopkins and Jones and that will lead me to believe he would not have lasted 5 min with them in their prime

i believe that already but if he struggles it will solidify it for me

1997 Calzaghe would have done great against a prime Jones or Hopkins. Whether he would have beaten them is debatable, but they would have been close back then too. Calzaghe is not in his prime, don't pretend that he is.

i thought Calz looked horrible against Hopkins i know people like to say everyone looks bad against Hopkins which im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt but if he looks as bad against Jones then

He struggled against a cheating hopkins who clinched the entire fight, and was head butting and faked low blows(because he was tired from keep up with Calzaghes pace) Joe Cortez paid off by golden boy?

And hopkins is so shot that he cheated against winky by head butting him and winning a decision over him, and the only fight I know hopkins didn't cheat in was the one against Pavlik. Who really needs to cheat against a guy who just comes forward and doesn't know how to fight in angles? Isn't that like a jeff lacy clone?

The Pavlik fight has proved that Hopkins didn't lose to Calzaghe because of time, it was because of Calzaghe's pressure. It made Hopkins look like ****, as much as Hopkins made Calzaghe's fighting style look like ****.

Anyway I won't be able to answer your question until I see how good or bad Roy looks. If Joe struggles against a badly degraded Roy Jones then I will come on here and tell you that it was a pointless win.
