    Calzaghe/Jones a Welsh perspective

I ****ing love our Joe, and he is a legend despite the sniping from people who arent qualified to snipe. I also think RJJ is absolutely the dogs bollocks, and a great human being as well (Hopkins, the paranoid android take note).
Joe HAD to take this fight, and its clear that Pavlik would have been cannon fodder if he had taken that route. I cant call it myself because RJJ could knock Joe out - even though Joe has one of the best chins boxing has ever seen. RJJ has the ability to do anything. What many americans dont realise though is that the harder the fight, the better Joe performs. Unlike Pavlik, pressure brings the best out of joe. He can change a fight plan in an instant and adapt as he goes along, like he did against Hopkins and Kessler.
One thing is clear to me though. If RJJ cant stop Joe, he will lose on points. Joe will prefer to have an honest fighter like RJJ coming on and bringing a fight to him rather than Hopkins the butting, holding, falling, faking coward.
Joe will throw twice as many punches in the fight as RJJ but will they land?
Personally im ****ting it because i want him to retire unbeaten and this is close, to close. joes hand speed is incredible and it will be shown on Saturday.
The dopey Americans out there who dont know boxing might just finally admit that Calzaghe is the real deal if he wins.
Somehow though, i think they will always find a reason to hate him. Slapzaghe is the name that makes me laugh. The guy has had hand injuries that finish fighters off for good, yet Joe just adapted his style and carried on. How many "fighter" on this site have stopped boxing because of hand injuries less serious than those suffered by Joe.
It will be a great fight with TWO great fighters not just the American one.

    Good luck Joe
