    De la Hoya-Pacquiao PPV Rebate

I don't know if you guys have heard about this, but I got a flyer from a local grocery store that had a coupon for a $20 rebate when you order the De la Hoya-Pacquiao PPV. It'll work as long as you buy a 12-pack or more of Tecate beer.

The economy is rough, so any extra money or discount helps! Just thought I'd spread the word to you guys in case it's available in your area too.

Sounds like a good deal if it is true. Let us know how you make out my man.

I figured I was gonna buy plenty of beer for that night anyway, so I might as well save a little money while I'm at it!

          Here's a press release I found online:

Tecate Promotes Next de la Hoya Bout

Tecate Beer will run a retail promotion to reach the at-home Hispanic audience for the December Las Vegas bout between Olympic gold medalist Oscar de la Hoya and World Boxing Council lightweight champion Manny Pacquiao.

The multi-channel campaign around the fight, to take place Dec. 6 at the MGM Grand Hotel, will feature commemorative 24-ounce and 12-ounce cans with boxing images, and thematic packaging on 18- and 24-packs.

Tecate will also offer a $20 mail-in rebate for the HBO pay-per-view event with the purchase of 12-packs or larger of Tecate and Tecate Light, where legal.

I always liked Tecate, my favorite Mexican beer for sure. I usually buy it to watch fights anways because they sponsor the fights.

So guys, would it be cheaper for me to go to a bar that is charging $10 per person (my girfriend and I) plus a few drinks while there or stay at the house and order it then use the rebate?

                Any help?

Do you know what they're charging for the fight in your area? I think it's $54.95 here...so with the rebate, I'm gonna be looking at $34.95.

I guess it just depends on how much you plan on drinking at the bar, 'cause we all know that **** can get expensive real quick! I'd rather just watch it at home with all the friends coming over. Everyone brings beer and snacks and it just works out better that way. In our case, the kids can all entertain each other too and we don't have to worry about looking for a babysitter.
