We all know the story of what happens when you go up in weight putting on some added muscle and whatnot to makeup for lack of true physicality. After Manny wins or loses against Oscar, having to then shed off all the new muscle and conditioned weight he's putting on will be his downfall when he attempts to drop back down to 135 or 140lbs. He already mentioned they wanna go to 140lbs after this fight and most likely for Hatton. But who knows how the reduction in muscle mass will effect Manny as it has so many others.

as long as he doesn't put on too much muscle.....he should be fine.

he was 146 in the ring at 135. if he comes in at 147 in the ring he should be fine.

now if he tries to blow up and adds too much muscle...... then it'll be like roy coming back down to 175.

this is what im afraid of. lets hope he can make 135 for a big fight with marquez but i think he'll only be able to make 140 for hatton thus i think marquez will try to chase him up there get a belt and probably force it.

It depends on how much muscle he puts on, maybe it won't be that much.

Nah, what's gonna be hard is having to come down from a 15 million dollar payday to a 5 million, or worse , back to 3 million dollar paydays to face the same tired ole qu**r, Juanita.

It's hard to get up at 6 in the mornin' to earn 3 million when you just earned 15 million. I'd just put the blanket over me and say f**k it, I'm going back to sleep(lol)

It's easier when you are younger and as long as he takes his time, and hires the proper people to take care of him, he should be OK, but it's still something I wouldn't chance.

How much is he adding from his last fight?

for sure it will be hard but imho at 140 it wont be that BAD, going back to 135 will prove difficult...
