Ngoudjo will dominate the one dimensional Urango.
Bennett gave nine rounds to Malig***gi 117-111. That was just ridiculous.

And Chevalier gave eight rounds to Malig***gi.

I thought Randall Bailey got robbed against Ngoudjo in Canada when they fought. I got homeboy Urango on actually winning the fight, but since its in Canada I dont know if he will win officially or not.

[QUOTE=Tunney;4282923]Herman Ngoudjo, who was robbed of a world title last January by New York area boxing judges after defeating Paulie Malig***gi, will be fighting hard-punching Juan Urango on Jan 30/09 in Montreal for the IBF light welterweight title.
        ************************************************

wow a title fight in his hometown?
might as well mark it in the books Ngoudjo the new IBF champ.

and it's on a Friday! pretty good chance it'll prob be on FNF ... or Shobox.

**and IMO the Bailey/Ngoudjo fight was a much worse decision then Malignaggi over Ngoudjo

seriously if Herman never left his home country he'd probably still be undefeated. as his only 2 loses came outside of Canada.

Urango is a powerful puncher with an iron chin, but limited skills. Ngoudjo has average power but very good boxing skills. So it is irrelevant where the fight is, because there is only two possibilities:

          1) decision for the more skillful Ngoudjo
          2) KO for the hard-punching Urango

well Randall Bailey who isn't that great of a boxer traded knockdowns vs Herman and there fight came down to judges scorecards and Herman got the victory.

I've seen both fight and Herman is certainly the less rugged of the 2, but I think calling Ngoudjo's boxing skills "very" good is over rating him a tad .. as if he really did have very good boxing skills it would have gotten him by Paulie.

regarding Urango/Ngoudjo there's such a discrepancy in skills that Juan will almost have to kayo him to win the fight, and it probably will play out as you say as I certainly don't see Urango winning if the fight goes the full 12 rounds.
