Im a Joe supporter, a "prime" or even slightly off RJJ easily beats Joe. A fight lets say in 01 RJJ outpoints and makes Joe look ****. But in 08 i don't think the gap is that big and seeing Joe recieve some great uppercuts from Kessler shows Joe has a great chin, no TKO finish here. Calzaghe dec.Comment

Wow, it seemed that the majority picked Jones to win. I must admit that I wouldn't be surprised now. After seeing recent photo's and some training videos of both of them Jones seems to be in good shape, whereas Calzonie seemed to be out of shape comparative to what he looked like in the past. I'm quite surprised. I think he has actually lost his hunger and thinks he can just pull this fight out easily. I have a feeling he will be very surprised though.
I don't know. I guess we really won't see how he looks until fight night, though I'm still very stunned at the way he looked recently. He had quite a round, chubby look, about his face especially, when he would normally look very thin and angular. Taking it a bit too light I think. We'll see.Comment

Well, that wasn't exactly unusual at the time though was it? I mean, everyone and his dog picked Lacy to steamroll Calzaghe. I can't think of an 'expert' or boxer that picked Calzaghe to win that fight.
Toney has always had a dig for the Euro's as well, always saying they are ****e fighters etc, so it was probably half that as well.
