Who's actually glad Calzaghe picked RJJ over <insert boxer here>?

I know when the fight was first announced a lot of people thought:

"Joe picking an easy pay day against a shot RJJ"

"He should have fought Pavlik or Dawson"

"B-Hop should have got a rematch"

"Waste of time, Joe easily UD's this"

But the closer we get to it the more I think that it really was the best option....for everyone, it might be easy to say now Pavlik got beat but who else really is there who'd provide all the anticipation and the glamour which this fight now seems to have? Dawson? A young guy still relatively unknown outside of boxing? Who's really only made himself known in the past two fights?

No one give RJJ a chance in this when it was announced but seeing him recently train, he looks sharp and very quick and if I'm going to be honest if there's one realistic opponent out there Joe would lose to, it's RJJ....not Pavlik or Dawson or even B-Hop. RJJ might have had his best years but he's now got 3 wins under his belt going into one of his last biggest performances of his career.

So, how many of you actually respect this match up? And how many of you still think it's a waste of time?

Personally I think it's going to be a cracker and if there's one person I'd want Joe to lose to it is to Sir Roy.

Always been looking forward to it, since it was announced.

Quite sceptical at first, but as we've got closer I've been caught up in the hype.

I answered B. I was very, very unimpressed with the decision to fight a post 05 RJJ. In light of recent events, including Hopkins and ***** victories, as well as the general hype around the fight and my growing distaste for Joe's attitude, I am excited to see this fight.
I will, however, be in a very bad mood of Roy gets tooled.

I never cared much for Pavlik-Calzaghe. I always would've rather seen Pavlik stay at 160 and fight Abraham.

Although I knew the chances were slim, I much rather would have seen Dawson-Calzaghe.

I think I would have made a lot of money on Pavlik-Calzaghe, so I regret that it never happened.

im not really impressed with this fight but i understand Joe`s reasons for this fight, Roy wont pose much of a challenge now and this was the biggest money fight on offer
