The higher he is being raised, the harder he will fall...

Same thing with Mijares, here in Mexico he was raised high, and failed and go down. But Mijares arguments for being considered p4p were more solid than Vic's... Lets see how many fights will last

I can give you my point of view according my situation, and it is that I'm living in a small city in the borderline with USA. Here most of people have no cable TV and HBO is expensive, Lucky me that I have both. But I can tell you that boxing is far from being dead, instead it is raising on peoples preferences, I'm seeing more young people involved in boxing and here we have 3 to 5 good fights every year, last year Marco "Veneno" Rubio fought here and almost the entire city where there. With Televisa and TVAzteca transmiting fights for free the boxing is gaining more fans than ever... It's true that Arce is most popular because of it, but people that knows real boxing knows who really barrera, morales y JMM are. I think that boxing in Mexico is growing faster than ever

Good for him, there was a time when these smaller fighters weren't making any kind of money, now they're getting paid big. Darchinyan should be making more for being on a higher profile fight but you have to admit that $250,000 is not bad to fight an unknown who has never fought on American TV before. You have to assume that Donaire will make a heck of a lot more to fight Arce.

I believe there was a TV deal with ABS-CBN for Donaire so that's money as well. I think Donaire and his team were wearing some sponsors headband so that's money as well.

Thank you. There's a guy -hyperion- here that states he "lives" in mexico and that no one cares about it there. then i list him several facts that prove him wrong and he goes on and lists excuses like "they only goes cause it's free" "they have nothing better to do" dude is pathetic!
