    Pavlik vs. Mundine

After Pavlik.s lose to Hopkins, and Mundine trying to hit the US ?

I hate trash talkers like Miranda and Mundine but you have to respect boxing talent. Watch the video, in which Mundine force a Pavlik "similar type" of a fighter on the back food. Speed and keep on stepping in to the fight zone, great food work, fast hands, speed and accuracy.

(And quite re freshly that the trash talks stop after the fight)

As i saw Pavliks last fight, it was more a Pavlik lose, than a "great" Hopkins win. Therefore i think this could turn out to be a great match up. Pavliks stamina and toughness against the more talented fighter with speed, accuracy and footwork and some what a week chin.

Whilst Green may fight in a similar style to Pavlik he is not even on his radar in terms of his level of quality.

If you want to see how a fight between Mundine and Pavlik would play out you are better off looking at Kessler-Mundine. Mundine would fight on the defensive the whole fight, pot-shotting where possible and winning the odd round on his way to losing a lopsided decision.

Personally I doubt it. Mundine actually has a very good chin and he would be cautious in this fight. I would be pretty surprised if Kelly stopped him. If the fight ever were to come off I would pick Pavlik by UD, maybe 10 rounds to 2 or 9 to 3 or somewhere around there.

I know what you saying, but Kessler had to fight at his best to win. Not sure Pavlik has the same good footwork and hand speed to do the same. Of cause a KO is possible.
Should be a great fight though.

            Gooid chin

Crazy Kim knocked him down and also feather fisted Ottke stopped him

Pavlik would be way too much for Mundine and he would stop him inside 8

imo it would be a good fight and maybe some ppl are underestimating just how good mundine is.

i agree with jan(DK), kess beat him by using handspeed and clever footwork, neither of those attributes does he share with pavlik.

if i was anthony mundine id fancy my chances of beating pavlik, pavlik though does have a punchers chance.

                  Pavlik clear UD

Mundine would fight like Taylor against Pavlik fight number 2 very cautiously just like he did against Kessler do to his chin. He would try to work of the counter but will fail when he tastes Pavliks power and work rate
