Dawson is not Pavlik and I mean that in a good way for Dawson. B-HOP beating Dawson is a very tall order. I don't think that would be a good move for B-HOP unless he is looking at from the stand point of if I win great if I lose I retire and pass the torch to Dawson.
And, if Bernard were to fight Chad, would he beat him?
IMO Bernard would be a stylistic nightmare for Chad or anyone else for that matter but I do think it would be an interesting match up.
Although it's obvious that Chad Dwason is a skilled boxer what has he done? He barely beat a past his best Glengoffe Donovan and his latest win was against an old Tarver.
A fight against Bernard would be a true test but Dawson isn't known and hasn't been promoted well enough.
This wouldn't be a fight to gather enough worldwide revenue to get B-Hop rubbing hands together.Bernard has already said he will fight before March 09 even if it isn't against Calzaghe or Jones,As for Chad Dawson B-Hop has stated he has ''Bigger Fish To Fry''.
I think Dawson vs Hopkins would be a close fight, stylistically, Hopkins is not good for Dawson, stylistically Hopkins is not good for anyone, maybe Dawson's youth and freshness can win him the fight but you can be sure that Hopkins will make him look horrible win or lose.
Man, that's a good question. The money fight is against Jones, no matter what anyone says. That would be the fight to make for B-hops benefit no matter what happens saturday.
If anyone could go and fight Chad right now and beat him, I would def. not count Bernard out again. I did that against Tarver and Pavlik and am not about to do it again. (I did call the Calzaghe one correct though)
I would say that it will be a very competative fight with Dawson being a little too skilled & fresh for B-hop. The decision could go either way based on clean-effective punching. I say Dawson by MD, even though I'm not sure about it. B-hop is a master southpaw fighter.
