But if he retires after beating RJJ, I would be happy for him. Boxing fans are leeches and also ask Way too much from boxers. How many fighters retire on top?? Ali should of, Tyson RJJ and many others. Boxing fans need to realise when a boxer wants to retire good on him, He (Calzaghe and others) trained like an animal and put himself through pain and gave up so much just to make you guys entertained.

Calzaghe will leave the game 46-0 undefeated undisputed at SMW P4P number 2 and a nice big fat pay check. WELL DONE TO CALZAGHE RESPECT

Good thread and it's true that not alot of fighter's Retire On Top/At The Right Time such as Ali,Jones..etc

I mean think about it if Jones had retired after winning the Heavyweight crown he would've left the game essentially undefeated! The only blemish on his record would've been that bull**** DQ loss to Montel Griffin.

If Calzaghe beats Jones and wins what IMO is gonna be a 50/50 fight,Then stay's true to his word and retires he will retire on the top of his game.
