I think I might have already asked you... I can't remember, and can't believe no one knows what it is, considering every Puerto Rican fighter has come out to it at some point (even Miranda did once for ****'s sake against Pavlik)... it's the song Lopez came out to against Ponce de Leon.

    ANY PUERTO RICANS, please help!

I hope so, Juanma's the champ, Boxing needs to stop crowning young champions if they are not going to be made do defend those championships against tough opposition. Concepcion is a good fight for Juanma.

Abe's manager said no...tsk tsk tsk... claims that 30 days isn't enought time to prepare for a fighter of Juanma's caliber. I guess Juanma gets to keep his belt and unblemished record a while longer At least this time, I cannot claim that team Juanma chickened out.

still hoping for a change of mind though...

peñalosa has the best chance in beating this puerto rican because of his good boxing skills & defense.

Promoter Aljoe Jaro announced yesterday he rejected the offer. He said "I did not accept it for lack of time". Jaro admitted that Concepcion is finding it hard to remain in his present weight and is interested in fighting at 126lbs.

I could be wrong, but I think that this fight will most likely never hapen. Juanma has expressed his interest in fighting at 122 for a bit. While Concepcion, depending on how he performs in his next fight, will be moving up to fight Steven Luevano. Juanma did say that depending on how things go for him at 122, he can be moving up in weight more sooner than later, so you never know.

Just my opinion...I think Koncz, is trying to set the fight up without consulting Concepcion's manager Aljoe Jaro...I think being left in the dark irked the guy and immediately said no to the fight. This is nothing but petty tug-o-war between greedy managerial partners. I think Koncz wants to earn a few bucks by brokering a US fight, while Jaro doesn't have to share with Koncz if he promotes a Philippine fight for Concepcion that is probably why Jaro prefers a Philippine promotion for Concepcion this December - Jaro wants a christmas payday.
