peñalosa is not asking for the sky. it was arum's opinion that penalosa is pricing himself out. i'm a bit sad the talks of fighting juanma is off because i believe penalosa will overcome juanma, the edwin valero of puerto rico.
while concepcion has power punches, he is still raw for a fight with juanma. but upset is now the trend: pavlik-hopkins, mijares-darchinyan.
who knows bernabe upsets juanma, the "edwin valero of puerto rico?"Comment

. Last time a Filipino bum fought a Mexican champ, the Mexican champ went down and kissed the canvas in front of his adoring hometown crowd.

That's the same thing these Filipino-wanna-bes from the USA said when AJ Banal of the world famous ALA gym of Cebu fought against Rafael Concepcion - he didn't have a chance, AJ is more polished, experienced, got power blah blah. Guess what, the friggin ALA prospect quit in front of the his Cebuano fans!

I agree with you, there is a very good chance that Juanma is the result of "punchers hype". The hype began in a 1 round fight, and then continued in another 1 round fight. Guys like Concepcion and Penalosa are what I need to see before they throw him in there with a Vazquez or a Marquez.
This is a great fight to see where these guys stand.Comment
