Well the only "real" other belt is the WBO, not the IBO. Vic hasn't TRUELY unified the division until he beats Montiel in my eyes. I think he would and I hope he does. Either way, someone will get KO'd in that fight.

i've noticed that with other boxers. they don't mention these minor belts.
its like a chop to mention them.
theres multible ibo and wbo belts. the international ones and the regional south pacific ones, etc. etc.
you don't hear emanuel augustus boast that he won the wbo oriental belt last summer.
you go to mexico and you have guys that have a 11-0 record that holds a hoaky belt. 45.3% of boxers in the orient, mexico,and south america holds some kind of belt. in england they give regional belt with fantasticaly long names, the brittish commonwealth of barney of the fife lower hertfordshire.

The IBO is irrelevant. You don't need it to unify and having it doesn't help. He needs Montiel's WBO belt. Why do you care about the IBO?
