Yeah I have been thinking the same thing. I think some people think or are hoping that Izzy is gonna be damaged from his three wars with Rafa, people have been calling him out like DLH recently. I was thinking about it after reading this article, an Izzy Vazquez fight is one of those "be careful what you wish for" things.

Vazquez has a 2 inch reach advantage. In either case Vic is one crazy mother****er if he is serious about this ****. I really hope he fights montiel first.

I want to see the Montiel fight first also. I think Montiel might actually land cleaner and harder shots than anything Mijares landed AND I see Montiel bringing a much better defense and conditioning.

The reason people questioned Vic against Mijares was his skill. Everyone was proven wrong as vic displayed a smart technical fight with the use of the right jab to set up the left, mostly combinations and not one punchers along with great defense. If you want to argue that he wont beat izzy make a more logical argument, like the fact that izzy is 7 lbs higher and is also a beast of a power puncher with a reach advantage.

cool, I predicted Vic will win against Mijares but never thought he'll get beat up badly by VD. Mijares is affraid on Vic's power no doubt but I thought he doesn't have a good plan to execute that night, Darchinyan's know from the start he lands on Mijares he knows he'll take care of the business...
