Some think that it's over for Kelly and all of a sudden AA and/or Sturm can suddenly beat him more convincingly now given the loss. Please. Kelly walks them both down all night long.
You are exactly right. Pavlik jumped up two weight classes, took on a wily old veteran, and got schooled. Even the great ones lose.

Did anyone see what Hopkins did and said following the fight? He went straight over to Pavlik and told him not to let this fight ruin him. Hopkins told Pavlik what to work on, and that he would dominate the middleweight division for a long time if he stayed focused. Even in pressers after the fight he said that Pavlik can still become one of the greatest middleweight champions of all time. I think Kelly will take the loss as a learning experience to shore up some of his flaws, and he'll wreck Abraham and Sturm all day.

Just like in college football, it's better to get a loss early in the career and move on than it is to get it late where the legacy is at stake.

That would be very, very awesome. All 4 major sanctioned titles, Ring Magazine and the Linear MW Championship. Lets make it happen people!!!!!!

I agree. Pavlik will be back better than before. Its okay though, I am enjoying seeing everyone write him off now, it makes it that much more fun when people are proven wrong.
Remember what Hopkins said after the fight "Im not kidding, Ill come find your ass" LOL Hops is the man.

It can make much more than that. He is already been offered 2.5 million today and it likely doesn't end there. This fight WILL happen next I'm sure.

Marquez has more of a shot than Sturm. Sturm will get clocked out.
