Arthur Abraham vs. Felix Sturm; The Pressure Mounts

The pressure in Germany is starting to build for a unification bout between WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm and IBF champion Arthur Abraham. Following last weekend's decision win over Sebastion Sylvester, Sturm and Universum head Klaus-Peter Kohl said they are ready for the fight if Abraham is. Kohl is not convinced that Abraham wants a piece of Sturm, basing that opinion on the amount of money they are being offered. [details]

i guess the demand for this fight has to be at high right now after pavlik loss, so he may be able to get more then 1.5

the thing is this offer is an old one, when the euro was actually a lot higher in value. It has slumped a little bit so i think sturm is trying to get it back to the intial value by asking for more.

If Felixs' people really are pursuing this, I give all respect to him, I actually like the guy, but him ducking aa when aa offered him his biggest payday was what made me dislike him. Anyways hopefully this comes thru:
            WAR A A!!!!

In all honesty his style can give aa a lot of problems, however him being a p*ssy about this fight is what caused a lot of people to bag on him.

Very true raging, the thing is I just can't see him hurting aa, in all honesty his on ly chance is a decision.

As far as styles, AA beats EVERYONE at middle, hands down, no problems, the only person I always feared was Jermain Taylor, I think he beats aa hands down.

Im not sure about reach but sturm is a couple inches taller, and he can use that jab to keep aa at bay. It will be hard for aa to win a descision as long as sturm uses that jab effectivley. KO on the other hand, well that AAs specialty.
