    This is, on the face of it, more to be absorbed, not because of it's wonderful words of wisdom and fact, but because of the lack of them. I really thought tha TK, whose work I like and appreciate, had got rid of whatever was causing him to start writing crap, and had got back to delivering the 100$ gilt edged articles as he had in the past.

    Perhaps he was-is writing these "un-facts" (like Dracula's "undead") to create controversy, and thus...generate letters about his article.

    Well, I see that it's almost there it's not quite, as he rather slipped up a bit.

    In the quote I selecte above from his present article, the REAL, TRUE facts are noticeable by their absence. It implies cowardice and chicanery by V Klitschko, of normally genuine, sterling character. Nowhere is mentioned that Klitschko did not "back out" which connotes avoidance, and nowhere does it mention that he had a bodily ailment, which, mis-diagnosed caused a couple of re-statements of a "possible" date for the fight.

    {{The fight incidemntally. between V Klitschko and Hasim Rachman would have ended .."you know how"...., and sooner rather than later.}}

    During that time, Rahman took a fight with his closest friend Monte Barrett, which, for soporific power, was unequalled. I heard that the final announcement of the forseen and forgone result was unheard by the audience (I won't say "fans") because of the loud snoribng by those who remained..." fast in the arms of Morpheus". I also saw written, and from a slightly more reliable source, that a large proportion of the audience had left the arena long before the fight was -mercifully- ended.

    There is no mention by TK of the ugly, career ending injury suffered by VK just 9 days before the fight. Also, no mention of the gentlemanly and sporting action by VK in not wanting to delay or hold up,the WBC in the matter of it anointing a new champion, by retiring right there and then, thus allowing Rahman, who was "interim Champ, to become Champ champ.

    If the fight had actually taken place, I believe that everybody in the boxing world, except Rahman, (but perhaps even including him and his handlers,) would have seen that the "champ champ" was actually the sound of Klitschko devouring Rahman in massive, career ending bites.

    What more can I say.......? One thing maybe. Could it be, that TK has a dislike for the Klitschkos and that this is the cause of his overcritical comens to date?? Being a writer, he should be able to write an impartial article.
    he's always shown clear dislike for the klits. his articles are so biased and inaccurate its sickening. he's a joke

          I hope Rahman shows up to fight in good shape and doesn't quit after tasting Klitschko's power. As a Klitschko fan, I'm not too thrilled about the choice of his opponent but am glad he kept the December fight date....

            rahman is deadman walking in this fight, what a joke too, i'm sure there has to be a better choice in opponents, rahman doesn't make it to the 6th round, the only way he does, is if, wlad fights like a scared little girl, which i doubt.

            i wish vitali hadn't got hurt when he was supposed to fight rahman, he probably would've retired him, wishful thinking..........

            all this coming form guy who doesn't like any of the mentioned fighters and who doesn't care too much for the HW division......

              The choice of Rahman had a lot to do with his high IBF ranking. Read this report from ESPN:

              http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/box...ory?id=3681385

              Because Povetkin cannot make the Dec 13 fight, Rahman has replaced him as the IBF mandatory.

              Arreola vs. Walker will become an IBF eliminator. Wlad vs. Arreola (or Walker) next year will be a good fight!
