    Mijares interview after the fight

    Basic translation

Cristian, it was a bad night for you. What went wrong?

CM:I was never able to decipher his style. He's a great fighter and fought well. it was my turn to lose.

Before the fight, you said that he would have a difficult time finding you but he was able to catch you from the first round.

CM:I lost my warrior spirit and fell into his game plan by trying to brawl with him instead of fighting. I wasn't thinking, I didnt fight intelligently. Champions distinguish themselves by coming back after a loss.

What have you learned from this loss?

CM:Alot, I have learned and am learning more. It was my turn to lose and that's the nature of the sport. Champions come back after a loss, all we can do is pick ourselves up and keep winning.

Mijares might be the sharpest fighter i've ever heard. He'll definetly be back you can tell this lose wont get to him and he fought an ugly fight.

Frijoles will be back alright, just don't put him up against Vic again or DONaire or he'll be ****tin' Frijoles all over again.
