Hey I'm Boricua and I enjoyed watching the Tito fights in the past, and I think the answer to your question is because people (at least me) are tired of this game Tito keeps playing. He is manipulating everybody pretending he's coming back etc. when all boxing fans know he cant have a comeback fighting at 170, once a year, against "Top" opponents. I'm tired of watching him get beaten and hearing that he is doing it for PR... man he aint doing it for PR, he is doing it for money and that is the truth. He is destroying all the grat things he did and he knows it. Now he is talking about Tito-Hopkins II, about Tito- Pavlik and about Tito-Calzaghe... all these guys will beat him, he knows it but he wants to make us think he has a chance. My personal opinion is that he is jealous of the attention Cotto, Calderon etc were receiving and thats the whole reason of this.

Tito before his first retirement = Hero, everybody was happy (even with his loss against B-Hop.

Tito when he came back for the first time 'till now= Clown, boxing fans know it

And I'm not a hater I liked Tito, as I'm a fan of most boricua boxers but ****... I'm getting tired of this.

its a pick em fight imo

people who have not seen a prime Tito should not judge him on the Jones fight

I dont agree with you there... Tito may have been proud of being boricua etc. But when a boxer gets in a ring risking his life, they do it for the money and for their future. Nobody steps in a ring to face a guy that can punch the crap out of you for PR, USA or any other country. I dont know if you get my point...

Maybe Trinidad should have done what De La Hoya did. He should have beat the crap out of an Old Julio Cesar Chavez. Imagine what Trinidad would have done to Chavez If Hoya stood in front of Chavez and beat him silly. Trinidad would have ended his career. Then the fans would have appreciated him more.

i think primarily he did for the money as all boxers do as you say but i myself did get the impression he was very proud to represent PR

yeah nobody goes toe to toe with Trinidad and gets away with it if you are going to beat him you give him lateral movement and box you DO NOT stand infront of him
