Ponce De Leon triumphs!
In his first bout since losing his WBO super bantamweight world title in June, Daniel Ponce de Leon returned with a vengeance on Saturday night. Ponce De Leon (35-2, 31 KOs) scored a fourth round knockout over Damian Marchiano (15-6-1, 5 KOs) at the Gimnasio Manuel Bernard Aguirre in Chihuahua, Mexico. Time was 1:41. In the co-feature, lightweight Javier Castro (18-1, 16 KOs) scored a fourth round TKO over veteran Efren Hinojosa (29-4-1, 17 KOs).
